I always have a look at travel magazines when on the road. The last time I was traveling I picked up AFAR because it said something like - "Voted The Best Travel Magazine in the World". Ok, I thought, yup, let's check and see if it is. To my surprise, it certainly was up there as one of the best, especially for me.Jim Byers, Travel Editor of The Star says "It's the best thing that's happened to travel publishing in years" and for what it is I can't agree with him more. If you can't get away and yearn for authentic travel experiences, ideas and travel humor I'd suggest picking up a copy.
