It's Thanksgiving Weekend here in Canada or as they say in French - Jour de l'Action de grâce. I just saw that french translation for the first time ever on Wikipedia while searching for the exact meaning of Canadian Thanksgiving so I could have a jumping off point for this weeks search.
It's a harvest celebration - and a chance to reflect about what you're thankful for.

My family started a ritual of sharing one thing we are thankful for at dinner each night. Usually it isn't too cheesy- we share the small things like leaf jumping and new socks.
My new definition of art is that it is making the ordinary extraordinary. We just have to take the time to create and honor that beauty.
